Pakistan-India foreign secretaries’ meeting finalised: FO
Khalilullah says Modi’s visit to Pakistan is positive steps, will have good impact on bilateral relations

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Office Spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said date is being finalised for meeting of Foreign Secretaries of Pakistan and India to be held next month.

In his weekly news briefing here on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesman said Foreign Secretaries will finalise schedule of meetings of various segments of the comprehensive bilateral dialogue in accordance with the joint statement issued on 9th of this month.

He said Indian Prime Minister also recently visited Pakistan.He said these are very positive steps and hoped that these will have very good impact on bilateral relations.

To a question, the FO spokesman said Pakistan and India have serious issues and disputes that need to be resolved peacefully through dialogue. He said all the issues of our concern will be raised in the foreign secretaries talks.

Answering a question, Khalilullah said consultations are underway to host first meeting of the quadrilateral coordination committee comprising Pakistan, Afghanistan, US and China in Islamabad in the second half of next month.
