Iran ready to negotiate in gas pipeline project
ISLAMABAD: Iran has agreed to negotiate on the amendment in the Gas Sale Purchase Agreement (GSPA) of the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project.
As per the official sources in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, “Pakistan has requested Iran for amendment in the GSPA and Iran has agreed to negotiate.”
The official further said that the funds will be allocated for the project in the due course of time and the timeline for completion of the project will be decided mutually in the forthcoming meetings between Pakistan and Iran.
