NA session victim to chaos again

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly (NA) session on Monday was once again spoiled due to uproar as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi urged the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to attend the sessions and answer opposition’s questions.

The chaos began when the Speaker gave the microphone to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Daniyal Aziz. The opposition members started chanting anti-government slogans and stood on their seats.

Shah Mehmood urged the Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif to attend the session and answer the opposition’s questions. “Either the PM should present clarification himself or ask some responsible person from the government to respond,” the PTI leader said.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif responded to this by saying that he was waiting for PTI Chairman Imran Khan to attend a session as well.

Daniyal Aziz mocked PTI by saying that whenever the PM attends a session, the party members walk out of the National Assembly.
