PM applauds PML-N’s local body success
By: PPIISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif congratulated Pakistan Muslim League-N’s (PML-N) party workers, office bearers and voters for securing an overwhelming win in the local bodies elections across Punjab.
He appreciated the party workers’ hard work and said that the people have shown great trust and confidence in PML-N’s developmental policies.
He said that the PML-N representatives have to serve the people with greater responsibility. Nawaz said that the elected mayors and chairmen would have to solve people’s problems at the grass root level.
The PM said that no democracy in the world can perform well without having efficient local bodies. He also expressed confidence that the elected representatives would serve the people above political affiliation.
