Situation in held Kashmir highly alarming: AJK president
KARACHI: President Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has invited the people of Karachi to invest in Azad, Jammu and Kashmir as it has emerged as the centre of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The AJK president stated this as he addressed and later talked to newsmen here on Thursday on the occasion of 54th passing out parade of Pakistan Marine Academy. Addressing the passing out parade
ceremony, AJK president said the doors of Azad Kashmir are open to everyone for investment and business. He said Azad Kashmir has an important role to play in the Pakistani economy. The AJK president said it is his desire that Pakistan should be counted amongst the stronger economies of the world.
He said the marine academy has to play an important role in the CPEC. He said the PMA had to be strengthened for fortifying maritime security of Pakistan. He said the PMA is one of the central and important institutions of the nation.
Talking to newsmen, AJK president said the situation in the Indian occupied Kashmir is highly alarming. He said India has subjected thousands of people in Kashmir to oppression and barbarism. He condemned the state-sponsored terrorist tactics used by India against people of the Indian-held Kashmir.
He said India has in fact simultaneously launched three wars against Pakistan: a war being waged in the occupied Kashmir, one at the front of Azad Kashmir, and the last one inside Pakistan through clandestine means.
The AJK president said India continues to commit violate the Line of Control alongside Azad Kashmir. He said India has sent its spies to Pakistan to target the emerging port city of Gwadar.
He said the real cruel face of India has been exposed to rest of the world in the form of the convict Indian agent Kulbhushan Jadhav being held in Pakistan. The AJK president said it is the open-heartedness of Pakistan to allow the meeting between the convicted Indian spy and his family members but India has raised hue and cry on this humanitarian gesture.
