Fazl urges govt to satisfy Kashmiris on MFN status to India


ISLAMABAD: National Kashmir Committee has prepared recommendations for convening joint sitting of foreign ministry, ministry of trade and Kashmiri leadership on pending issue to grant India as Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status for trade, Geo News reported.

The meeting of the committee was held here and was chaired by Maulan Fazl-ur-Rehman.

Briefing the media, Fazl said government should satisfy Kashmiris on this issue or listen their viewpoint.

Maulana said Kashmiris leadership has expressed reservations on granting India MNF status.

AJK leadership and Hurriat Conference leaders also attended the meeting.
