President assures support to Shahi Syed in Senate elections

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari, in a meeting with an ANP delegation on Friday, assured his party’s support to Shahi Syed in the forthcoming Senate elections. The ANP delegation, headed by ANP provincial President Shahi Syed, called on the president at Bilawal House. They discussed the current political situation and matters related to coalition in Sindh. The ANP has nominated Shahi Syed as one of its candidates for the Senate elections from Kyber Pakhtunkhwa. Earlier, the Sindh governor and chief minister also met the president. staff report
