Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) life a beacon for humanity: Ebad

KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal is a sacred day for the Muslims and humanity. In a message on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) being celebrated on Sunday, he said the day marks birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), the last Prophet and the source of guidance to mankind. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) brought about a social and spiritual revolution in the world and hence changed the course of human history, he added. Khan said Islam, a universal religion, guides the humanity to the path of peace, security and welfare. "We should respect other human beings irrespective of any discrimination of caste or creed', he added. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in his message on the eve of Eid Miladun Nabi said the entire life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a beacon light for people. He said that Muslim Ummah should seek salvage from difficulties by following and practicing the teachings of Holy Prophet (PBUH). He stressed upon the Muslims to follow the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) which provided guidance in every sphere of life. app
