ECP releases list of 50 senators retiring March 11
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan has released a list of 50 senators who are going to retire on March 11, Geo News reported.
Out of a total of 100 senators, those who are going to complete their 6-year term on March 11 include 2 from the Federal Capital, 11 each from the four provinces, and four from FATA.
The senators retiring on March 11 are: Tariq Azeem and Wasim Sajjad from Islamabad.
Prominent senators from Punjab include Ishaq Dar, Babar Awan, Jamal Leghari, Javed Ashraf, Muhammad Ali Durrani, Nilofer Bakhtiar and S.M. Zafar; those from Sindh include Raza Rabbani, Ahmed Ali, Tahir Mashhadi, Khalid Soomro and Dr. Hafeez Sheikh; the senators from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa include Salim Saifullah, Gul Naseeb, Talha Mehmood, Prof. Khursheed and Prof. Ibrahim, Ilyas Bilour while those representing Balochistan include Shahid Bugti, Israrullah Zehri, Mir Muhabbat Marri, Abdul Rahim Mandokhel, Jan Muhammad Jamali and Rehmatullah Kakar.
The senators from FATA who will be retiring on March 11 are: Hafiz Rasheed, Abdul Razzaq, Abdul Rasheed and Saleh Shah.
