Nawaz links 20th Amend to independent ECBAHAWALPUR: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that unless his party’s demand for an “independent” Election Commission (EC) was met, there would remain an impasse on the issue of the 20th Amendment Bill. Speaking to the media, he also linked an agreement on the 20th Constitutional Amendment to the holding of early elections.
