Hazara varsity, USAID sign MoU for academic blockABBOTTABAD: A high-level delegation of USAID and CDM construction consortium visited Hazara University for signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU), on Wednesday. Under the agreement, the USAID will construct an academic block for Pre- STEP (Hons) Programme of Teachers Training.
The programme would enable teachers to get a comprehensive training for teaching, making them effective classroom teachers.
The meeting was attended by the senior officers of Hazara University and USAID. After visiting the site of construction the vice chancellor formally handed over the subject site to the chief of delegation. It will comprise classrooms, auditorium, laboratories, libraries and all related facilities for teachers. The construction of the block will be completed in one year after the groundbreaking ceremony and the building will be handed over to the university with all the facilities. abdul khaliq qureshi
