Bill for 20th amendment presented in National Assembly
ISLAMABAD: The bill for making 20th amendment in the Constitution has been tabled before the National Assembly hours after the Federal Cabinet gave approval to the amendment's draft on Tuesday, Geo News reported.The National Assembly session is presently underway and being presided over by its Speaker Dr. Fahmida Mirza.
Law Minister Maula Buksh Chandio presented the bill for 20th amendment immediately after the NA session went underway.
The proceedings of the house were suspended for 15 minutes after approval of a motion seeking the same for presentation of the bill.
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan raised objection on tabling of the bill without holding consultation.
