Drug reaction: Young doctors on strike against seniors' suspension
LAHORE: Young Doctors in the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) are on strike against the suspension of Chief Executive, Medical Superintendent (MS) and Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS), Geo News reported.The strike has affected the operations in Indoor Patients Department and Outdoor Patients Department after young doctor stopped working.
They are of the view that the protest will continue till the doctors fired in drug reactions case are restored.
While the Punjab government is of the view that under the orders of Supreme Court, it is mandatory to all doctors to extend complete cooperation in the investigation being carried out regarding medicines of PIC.
Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, asked the protesting doctors to wait for the report of judicial commission probing the matter.
