Fehmida hails C’wealth support for democracy in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly (NA) Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza and Commonwealth (CW) Secretary General Kamalesh Sharma discussed issues related to the enhancement of relations and cooperation between Pakistan and Commonwealth, during a meeting in Parliament House on Thursday.

Dr Fehmida appreciated the support of Commonwealth for strengthening of democracy in Pakistan. Kamalesh Sharma said that Commonwealth has always been supportive of strengthening of democracy and democratic process in Pakistan and would continue its unwavering support in this regard. staff report
