Ghee, cooking oil mills closed down
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Vanaspati Mills Association (PVMA) has shut down all the ghee and cooking oil mills and stopped supply of the commodity across the country today (Saturday), Geo News reported.This was decided in the meeting of PVMA here. The association said that they will not reopen the mills till the end of monopoly of edible oil transporters.
Chairman PVMA Abdul Waheed said that the association is independent in giving contract of transportation of edible oil to anyone.
They demanded protection to the ghee mills and smooth transportation of commodity.
