Missing persons camp runs into 5th day


ISLAMABAD: A camp established by the relatives of missing persons here in front of the Parliament House has entered into fifth day, Geo News reported.

Defence of Human Rights on 15th February set up a camp here at D-Chowk for indefinite period to formally launch campaign for release of missing persons.

The Chairperson of the organization, Amna Masood Janjua said that heirs of missing persons who came here from different destinations of the country would never return empty handed. "We will die here or return with our beloved ones," she said and added that the responsible elements behind this cruelty should be exposed.

Since then many political and human rights activists have visited the camp including PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.

PML-Likeminded leader Salim Saifullah met with the affectees and assured them of his support. He said when 20th Amendment could be passed, 21st Amendment can also be brought to recover the missing people.
