ISLAMABAD: The members of Youth Parliament of Pakistan (YPP) on Friday, while discussing the war on terror opined that the government should revise its policies.
However, the parliamentarians remained divided on the issue of owning the war on terror. While some said that this is our war and we should own it, others were of the view that this is an imposed war and dialogue with militants is the only way forward. The House adopted a resolution condemning the bomb blast in Peshawar.

The cabinet members include Umer Riaz, Youth Minister for Law, Parliamentary Affairs and Human Rights, Muhammad Usama, Youth Minister for Information and Technology, Ahmed Numair Farooq, Minister for Finance, Revenue and Planning, Hafeezullah Wazir, Minister for Interior (Kashmir, GB, AJK and FATA), Hassan Ashraf, Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Muhammad Waqar, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence while Dr Ali Raza, was elected as the general secretary and Elia Nauroz Ali was elected as the Chief Whip of the Blue Party
The Leader of the Opposition announced shadow cabinet. Following portfolios were allotted to the members. Jamal Naseer Jami, Shadow Minister for Interior (Kashmir, GB, AJK and FATA), Naveed Hassan, Shadow Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Malik Rehman Baloch, Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Yasir Riaz, Shadow Minister for Finance, Economics and Planning, Shan Haider, Shadow Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Haseeb Ahsan, Shadow Minister for Information while Muhammad Hammad Malik was elected as the general secretary and Mehreen Syeda was elected as the chief whip of the Green Party.
