Govt regulations dangerous for media: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Monday that the government’s attempt to regulate the free media was dangerous.Nisar said he would raise this issue in the National Assembly. The opposition leader while speaking to the media said the government was strengthening their position in the elections at the cost of free media.
“The government is trying to cover its failures by placing curbs on the media” Nisar said.
Nisar spoke of the government’s role in by-elections and emphasized that national wealth was spent on the elections in Multan.
