Imran Khan can’t get directly involved in Taliban talks: PTI Punjab leader

LAHORE: Although the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has yet to make its formal decision on whether its chief Imran Khan will become part of a committee announced by the Taliban to hold talks with the government, a PTI Punjab leader on Sunday said that Khan can’t get directly involved in the process.

Ijaz Chaudhry, President of PTI Punjab Chapter, said that the party wanted to make the talk process result oriented by remaining within the parameters of the Constitution.

He further said that all the political parties in the parliament should be taken into confidence over the talk initiative.
