Will support all steps for peace: Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says all steps which are taken for peace in the country would be supported as he responded to questions over the meeting between the committees formed by the government and Taliban.
The information minister told reporters the stance of the government committee was that the scope of dialogue be limited to insurgency affected areas of the country. In response to the demand of the Taliban committee to be provided a helicopter due to security threats, Rashid said even if they had to carry someone on their shoulders to ensure peace they would.
When asked about former president General (retd) not appearing before the special court, Pervaiz Rashid replied he had given Musharraf the 'free' advise of appearing in court.
