No SC judge holds dual nationalityAPP
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has clarified a news item published in a section of the press about dual nationality of some judges, saying no judge of the apex court holds dual nationality. According to the clarification issued by the Supreme Court on Thursday, the matter was discussed informally in the full court meeting, wherein it was noticed that none of the judges of the Supreme Court holds dual nationality. The full court meeting was held with reference to media reports in respect of proceedings in the Senate regarding dual nationality of judges of the superior courts. “Even otherwise, the constitution or the Code of Conduct for Judges of the Superior Courts place no bar on judges having dual nationality,” the clarification said.
