Dialogue committees be given opportunity to work for peace: Pervaiz

LAHORE: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday said that dialogue committees should be given an opportunity to work for peace in the country.

Talking to media at Aiwan-e-Iqbal, he said that interference in peace talks, through questions in the media, was not appropriate at this stage.

To a question about any impasse in the dialogue, he said the government was capable of tackling any deadlock as it wanted peace and it was a major goal.

The minister said that Pakistan had never interferred in the affairs of any other country and it was time to resolve its own issues.

He said that enemies of law and the Constitution should never be spared and they should be taken to courts.

Responding to another question about the issue of Big Three of cricket, he said that Pakistan’s stance was absolutely clear on the issue.
