Indian navy arrests 16 Pakistani fishermen

THATTA: The Indian navy on Saturday arrested 16 Pakistani fishermen for mistakenly violating the sea limits. Sources said the fishermen, hailing from Atherki area of district Thatta, were fishing near Sir Creek and Kajhar Creek Islands when they mistakenly went into Indian sea limits. A large number of armed personnel of Indian navy reached the scene and took away the fishermen and their boats. The detained fishermen included Ameen, Razzaq, Akram, Ameen, Khadano, Yousaf, Hussain and Nawaz.
