Some elements want to derail peace process: Sami
ISLAMABAD: Member Taliban committee, Maulana Samiul Haq has said all groups of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have supported the dialogue process, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News, Maulana Samiul Haq said if any group had opposed the peace process, it would have come forward.
Samiul Haq said some elements wanted to derail peace process through terror acts, however, any effort to derail the peace process would not succeed.
Maulana expressed the hope that a ceasefire agreement would soon be taken place between two sides.
Another Taliban committee member Professor Ibrahim expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far. He said their top most priority is to bring about a ceasefire as early as possible.
