Utility for talks over after terror attacks: Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah said the utility for talks was over after the recent terror attacks in the country.

Shah told reporters the government had not contacted the opposition after the new wave of terror attack but was rather chasing after the Taliban for talks.

According to Shah, Prime Minister Nawaz Shahrif would have to think like a leader and decided what the next step would be.

Shah’s statement came after the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for Thursday's bombing in Karachi which claimed the lives of 13 policemen.

Following the bombing, the TTP spokesman in a statement said attacks would continue until a ceasefire was announced by the government and Taliban.
