Imran Khan strongly flays killing of FC men
PESHAWAR: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan Monday vehemently decried the killing of FC soldiers claimed by a group of the proscribed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Mohmand Agency.
In a statement issued here today, Imran Khan said this barbaric act was against the teachings of Islam and must be condemned in the strongest terms. He hoped the government and military would let the nation know the veracity or otherwise of this shocking news.
“Clearly this is also a direct sabotage of the peace talks in the most barbaric way,” he said, adding, attempts were afoot to push the country towards the fire of battle.
Imran Khan said the killing of the FC men was completely unwarranted and called for an immediate announcement of ceasefire.
