Long march caravan reaches Gujrat
LAHORE: To impress on the nation what freedom is and what it means for the people of Balochistan, 15 girls’ and children’s long march by foot from Quetta to Islamabad via Karachi and Lahore entered the 115th day, as they reached Gujrat city on Tuesday after facing different obstacles.
The students from Balochistan studying in Lahore, in collaboration with the Pakistan Youth Alliance (PYA), also held a protest demonstration supporting the long march in front of the Lahore Press Club.
Meanwhile, the protesters told the media that the Amnesty International had issued a letter in the favour of the marchers.
PYA representative Mariya Mohsin told Daily Times that the long march would end in Islamabad.
