Peace talks have lost significance: Shah
SUKKUR: National Assembly Opposition Leader, Khursheed Shah says peace talks with the Taliban have lost significance.
Shah reiterated his stance on the utility of talks when he spoke to reporters at the Sukkur airport. Shah said Pakistani soldiers were being targeted and subjected to barbarian acts by terrorists. He called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to be a leader and take decisions, adding there was no threat to the prime minister’s ‘chair.’
The opposition leader expressed desire to have positive relations with Iran and all other countries in the region. “If any country in the regions is destablised, the negative impact would be felt by Pakistan.”
