Govt. should now return to talks: Rustam Shah
ISLAMABAD: Rustam Shah Mohmand of the government negotiation committee on Sunday said that the air strikes in Terah valley and Hangu were in reaction of the earlier Karachi and Mohmand Agency horrible terror incidents.
Talking to Geo News, Rustam Shah Mohmand said that the response to terror attacks was enough and the government should now revert back to talks adding military action was not the solution of the problem and Taliban should be brought into the mainstream under the constitution. He said that the talks process hasn’t yet failed, it has just met with a deadlock.
Rustam Shah Mohmand said that the constitution was not of any group but of 180 million people. Any amendment in the constitution could be made by the parliament only and it could not be changed on the command of one group, he said.
