Gorchani called back from Pakistan embassy in Washington

WASHINGTON: Minister community Affairs, Akhtar Hassan Gorchani in the Pakistan embassy in Washington has been called back to Islamabad, Geo News reported on Tuesday.

Sources said that the Director General Intelligence Bureau has issued a notification of his calling back to Islamabad from Pakistan embassy in Washington.

Sources further said that the former president Asif Ali Zardari had especially created the post of minister community affairs in Pakistan embassy and had appointed Akhtar Hassan Gorchani, the then Director General of the intelligence Bureau sometime in mid 2012.

Akhtar Hassan Gorchani a police service officer had earlier also served as Sindh Additional IG and other senior posts.
