Pakistan Expo to kick off in Kuala Lumpur from Friday

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Expo 2016 (Pexpo 2016) will kick off in the heart of Malaysian capital from Friday (February 12 to 15) at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
Leading designers from Pakistan are all set to showcase their collection of fabrics, stitched and unstitched, formal and semi-formal outfits and jewellery at the four-day exhibition. At least 63 leading Pakistani exporters and exhibitors of 19 product sectors, including surgical / medical instruments and fashion industries, would take part in the expo, which is expected to attract over 150,000 visitors.
In Malaysia, High Commissioner of Pakistan Hassan Raza has extended full support to organisers for arranging the event in a befitting manner. He said that the Pakistan Expo 2016 would be a platform for Pakistani businessmen to seek opportunities and build their presence in Malaysia. Last year, Malaysia-Pakistan bilateral trade stood at almost one billion dollars, of which 80% was made up of commodities.
