Sindh Govt forms JIT to investigate Uzair Baloch
KARACHI: Sindh Government has constituted a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) to investigate the under detention Lyari gang-war leader Uzair Baloch.
A notification in this regard was issued on Tuesday which says the Chief Minister Sindh granted approval to the formation of JIT to investigate Uzair Baloch on court orders.
It further said that a police officer of SSP rank will head the JIT.
Earlier, a spokesman Sindh Rangers had announced arrest of Uzair Baloch, saying that the gang-war leader was nabbed as he tried to enter Karachi.
Later, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had handed over Lyari gang-war leader Uzair Baloch to Sindh Rangers on a 90-day physical remand.
