NAB to bring in reforms in light of PM’s recommendations
ISLAMABAD: In response to the statement of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the spokesman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has said the process of accountability will be improved in the light of Prime Minister’s recommendations.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, the NAB said that the Bureau respects the views expressed by the Prime Minister.
It said the NAB had inherited some problems and it is now undertaking speedy reforms to improve the performance of the Bureau.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that the NAB needs to take up cases only after thorough initial investigation. “No one should be harassed without verification and solid proofs,” he added.
