Jashan-i-Bahaaran festivities from March 15

SARGODHA - District Coordination Officer (DCO) Saqib Manaan has said that Jashan-i-Bahaaran festivities would be celebrated in the District from March 15 to March 30.
Presiding over a meeting held to review spring festival arrangements here on Thursday, he said, all out efforts would be made to provide entertainment facilities to citizens.
ADC Farooq Rasheed, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Hamid Hameed, MPA Bahadar Abbas Maken, District Sports Officer were also present on the occasion.
The meeting was informed that various functions would be organized at Mela Mandi Ground in connection with Jashan-i-Bahaaran.
The functions include folk music, shaam-e-ghazal, tent pigging, traditional luddi dance, photography, paintings, essay writing, speech competitions and pet shows.Courtesy www.dailytimes.com.pk
