By ONLINE

ISLAMABAD: Former president Gen. (retd) Pervez Musharraf has moved the Supreme Court (SC) to allow him go abroad for his treatment.

Musharraf’s counsel Farogh Naseem has taken the plea that his client was seriously ill and he was in dire need of treatment.

He prayed the court to allow his client to go abroad for his treatment. His name should also be struck off the exit control list (ECL).

He said that a petition was also pending with the SC seeking exclusion his name from the ECL.

A decision should be given in this regard soon so that he could go abroad for his treatment.

Court is also requested to issue directives to federal government to exclude his name from the ECL forthwith, he pleaded.
