Taseer’s assassination ‘political’: Awan
LAHORE: Federal Law Minister Babar Awan blamed the Punjab government for not providing adequate security to the assassinated Governor Punjab Salman Taseer and termed the killing 'political', Geo News reported Wednesday.'I am not blaming anyone,' he asserted. He was talking to the media here today.
The assassination has raised many pertinent questions, Awan said. The minister maintained that the real conspiracy behind the killing needed to be exposed.
Awan said being a minister he also not being accorded proper security protocol by the Government of Punjab.
