Kashmiris observe Right to Self-Determination Day
ISLAMABAD: Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and the world over observed the Right to Self-Determination Day on Wednesday to remind the international community that the UN resolutions on Kashmir remained unimplemented even after the passage of more than six decades. On this day in 1949, the United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution, acknowledging Kashmiris’ right of self-determination and giving them the right to decide their future by themselves. app
