NP’s delegation meets MQM
KARACHI: A five-member delegation of National Party (NP), led by vice-president Mir Hasil Bazinjo, held a meting with MQM’s Deputy Convener Farooq Sattar here in metropolis and appealed for support of latter’s party on issue of missing persons in Balochistan, Geo News reported Wednesday.
In a notification issued from NineZero, it is stated that there were also present on the occasion, MQM’s Kanwar Khalid Younis, Mohtarma Nasreen Jalil, Ashfaq Mangi, Yousuf Shahwani and Saif Yar Khan.
Also, the attendees are the members of MQM’s Rabita Committee, the statement said.
During the meeting, Mir Hasil Bazinjo expressed hope that MQM would raise voice for the rights of Baloch people at every forum, citing MQM’s support, which according to him, always remained stood by Baloch leaders in past.
He said that Baloch people are worried over non-release of thousands missing persons, fearing that the issue has been getting worse since Balochistan government admitted that over 900 people were missing.
Responding to his appeal on behalf of Baloch people, Farooq Sattar asserted that chief MQM Altaf Hussain would continue making efforts to get oppressed people their rights, pledging that the latter would pay especial heed to issues of Baloch people.
