Bill seeking de-weaponization submitted
ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has submitted a bill in the National Assembly secretariat seeking de-weaponization of the country, Geo News reported.
The bill suggested minimum seven years of imprisonment and Rs 100 million for the violator.
De-weaponization Bill 2011, sought to curb the illegal production, trade and use of arms.
Addressing the media in Islamabad, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said in the wake of increasing law and order problem control over illegal weapon was necessary.
