SC to hear RPPs, missing persons' cases
ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) will hear cases of Rental Power Projects (RPPs) and missing persons today, Geo News reported.On Thursday, a three-member bench of apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry ordered to seize the passport of owner of Techno Power Plant and set Monday deadline to return the money taken in advance with interest.
Meanwhile, federal government will submit its reply to the report of the Judicial Commission on missing persons. Last week, a three-member bench of apex court headed by Justice Javed Iqbal directed the government to submit its reply.
