Nawaz sees conspiracy behind Karachi violence

BADIN: PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep concern over the law and order situation in Karachi and termed it a conspiracy against the people of the country. He was addressing the 24th death anniversary of Fazil Rahoo at Rahooki, on Monday. “No one will be allowed to disrupt peace in the country and particularly, Karachi,” he said and called upon the government to take cognisance of the deteriorating law and order situation in the city. Nawaz claimed that his party would expose the forces behind the assassination of Benazir Bhutto. “It is time that we should refrain from personal political gains and give priority to improving the socio-political situation in the country beyond party lines,” he observed. Nawaz said that some elements were keen on dividing the people of the country in the name of religion and ethnicity. app
