Nawaz demands timeframe for implementation of reform agenda
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief, Nawaz Sharif, has urged Pakistan People’s Party-led government to give a timeframe for the implementation of his 10-point programme, which he called ‘national agenda’, a private channel reported on Wednesday. Addressing the meeting of PML-N’s senior leaders at the Punjab House in Islamabad, Nawaz said that no plan could succeed without an accompanying timeframe, adding that few sections of the agenda could be implemented even “within 45 minutes”, the channel said. Nawaz regretted the delay by the government in implementing the agenda and urged Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani to show progress in this regard.
