Gabol meets PM, withdraws resignation
ISLAMABAD: Former state minister for ports and shipping Nabil Gabol called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and according to the sources withdrew the resignation on PM's directive, Geo News reported Friday.PM Gilani on Thursday contacted former state minister for ports and shipping Nabil Gabol on telephone and told him that he should have contacted him and the party leadership before tendering his resignation.
The PM told Gabol: "When a raid was conducted at your home, you should have directly contacted Rehman Malik or me as you are a member of the PPP CEC as well."
The prime minister had asked Gabol to immediately reach Islamabad and contact him and apprise him of his reservations.
