Altaf for reinstatement of KESC employees

KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has demanded immediate reinstatement of all the retrenched employees of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC). In a statement, he condemned the summary terminating services of over 4,000 KESC employees and termed it illogical and inhuman act. Altaf further said that the company administration must restore all the employees to their position failing which MQM would start a peaceful movement for their restoration. Altaf also appealed to the retrenched employees to adopt patience and refrain from causing damages to the public, government and KESC property. The MQM Coordination Committee has also flayed KESC for terminating the services of its employees and termed it the economic murder of the employees. It demanded of president, prime minister, Sindh governor and chief minister to take notice of the issue and ensure their reinstatement. staff report
