NEPRA reduces power tariff by Rs. 0.58 per unit
ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has directed eight distribution companies of the country to reduce power tariff by 58 paisas per unit, Geo News reported on Thursday.It is pertinent to mention here that except Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC), eight power distribution companies had sought Rs0.46 cut in power tarrif under monthly fuel adjustment.
The NEPRA while hearing the case directed eight companies to slash the prices by 0.58 paisas per unit.
The consumers will benefit from this power tariff reduction in the current month’s bills.
