Shahzain visits Nine Zero
KARACHI: The leader of Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) Nawabzada Shahzain Bugti paid a visit to the Head Office of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Nine-Zero and held discussions with the Coordination Committee members. Shahzain Bugti was heading a four-member delegation of his party. Coordination Committee members who were present on the occasion included Wasay Jalil, Kunwar Khalid Yunus, Yousuf Shahwani and Ashfaq Mangi. The overall political and economic situation of the country, particularly of Balochistan, came under discussion during the meeting. Shahzain offered his condolences on the martyrdom of MQM Convener Dr Imaran Farooq and offered Fateha for him. The Coordination Committee told Shahzain that MQM and Altaf Hussain have always been raising voice for the rights of the people of Balochistan. The committee said that MQM wanted to send a fact-finding delegation to Balochistan in order to ascertain real facts in the wake of the operation being done there but the delegation was stopped from going to Balochistan. The committee said Altaf Hussain was grieved that the delegation was not allowed to go to Balochistan. The committee said there was widespread poverty in Balochistan and if the provincial government acted sincerely it could provide relief to the people. staff report
