‘Govt discovers new sectors of economy’

KARACHI: Present democratic government has discovered the unconventional sectors of economy, which have huge potential to earn foreign exchange and generate countless new jobs. Tourism, software, livestock, higher education institutions, transit trade, media and communication, mining and defence production are but just few.
Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Sharmila Farooqi said while talking media men here in her office.
She said that Pakistan Peoples Party’s government under leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari had identified tourist spots in every corner of Pakistan and provided basic facilities and attitude that is required to boost tourism. Farooqi added that the local tourists could revive tourism sector and due to government’s efforts peace had established in Swat and local tourists as well as foreign tourists were going there.
