SC’s ‘memo commission’ meets on Jan 2
ISLAMABAD: The judicial commission formed to probe into ‘memogate scandal’ will meet on January 2, 2012, Geo News reported.
According to sources the head of commission, Justice Faaiz Esa Chief Justice Balochistan High Court, has been called in.
Commission’s secretary, Session Judge Islamabad High Court, has issued a notice in this regard.
The commission, constituted by Supreme Court of Pakistan, would sift through the evidence and gather testimonies, to bring the facts to fore.
The commission has been invested with special powers enabling it to engage forensic and cybercrime experts in the course of investigation.
