No more military courts: CJ

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has remarked that no one should be mistaken as door for military courts has been shut, Geo News reported.

While hearing the Bhutto reference case here today, he said that attempts have been made earlier as well but now the door for military courts is closed.

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday regretted PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif’s statement for setting up military courts in Karachi.

“How is it possible in a democratic set up? It is a double standard of the PML-N,” the Prime Minister said while addressing National Assembly in response to a point of order of Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbasi.
