Political tricks won't create new provinces: Nisar
ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Friday said that new provinces would not come into being by political jugglery.
Talking to media men outside the Parliament House here he said petrol prices have increased manifold. Former Indus Water Commissioner traitor Jamat Ali Shah has fled to Canada after harming country's water interests but issue is not being debated in the National Assembly.
He said non-issues were being created to divert people's attention from real issues including shortage of gas, power and price hike.
Criticising Mutahida Quomi Movement (MQM), he said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was in favour of creating new provinces after adopting set constitutional procedure.
"New provinces should be created after evolving consensus so that the federation could be strengthened further," he observed. (APP)
